Walther’s Forge-H1 is a 1911-style rimfire that makes for a perfect range toy, plinker, or training handgun. The Forge-H1’s grip-safety, thumb safety, and slide release are all located in the same location as its centerfire counterpart, making the Forge-H1 a perfect low cost training option for full-sized 1911 owners. In addition to the same manual-of-arms, the Forge-H1 also utilizes a 100% metal construction giving it the same feel and roughly the same weight of a centerfire 1911. The Forge-H1’s grips can be replaced with the vast majority of standard 1911 aftermarket grips, and is also compatible with standard 1911 holster. Additionally, the Forge-H1 features a threaded barrel for use with a suppressor and an under-barrel picatinny rail for lights and lasers.
