Built entirely from 17-4 stainless steel, the Sparrow 22 weighs 6.5 oz, measures 5.08" long, and carries a 1.07" outer diameter slim enough to clear factory iron sights on most .22 hosts. It is rated for .22 LR, .22 WMR, .17 HMR, .17 WSM, 22 Hornet, and 5.7x28mm, and is full-auto rated on .22 LR. How the MPC System Works
The Sparrow 22's internal MPC (MultiPart Containment) design is what originally set it apart from every other rimfire suppressor available when it launched. To disassemble: unscrew the back cap, slide the outer tube off, and peel the two half-tubes away from the monolithic core. Three O-rings seal the system — two size-18 O-rings seat at each end of the monolithic core, and one size-13 O-ring engages the muzzle threads. The Sparrow 22 ships with all three O-rings installed. Replacement O-rings are available separately. Do not use solvents or ultrasonic cleaners on the outer tube, as finish damage may result; internal components can be cleaned with solvents, light abrasive media, or chemical dips.
