The SilencerCo Omega 36M is a full-auto rated, modular centerfire suppressor built to run across rifles, pistols, and subguns. It ships in two length configurations — a short 4.9" / 9.8 oz setup for compact, lightweight builds and a long 6.85" / 12.5 oz setup for maximum suppression. The suppressor is 1.57" in diameter and is constructed from 17-4 stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and Cobalt 6. Compatible calibers span from 5.7x28 and 9mm on pistols up to .338 Lapua Magnum on rifles, making this one of the most versatile suppressors SilencerCo builds.

Mounting System Overview

The Omega 36M uses SilencerCo's Charlie mounting platform. The ASR (Active Spring Retention) mount provides fast, secure quick-attach/detach via a secondary locking collar and is compatible with any ASR muzzle device. Direct thread mounts work with all common barrel thread patterns. Piston mounts enable use on pistols and are also compatible with 300 BLK subsonic — note that the piston mount should not be used on high-powered rifle calibers due to heat and pressure. The 3-Lug mount is a push-and-twist option for pistol calibers and subsonic 300 BLK at close range.

Maintenance Notes

The Omega 36M requires minimal internal maintenance — SilencerCo describes the internal volume as functionally similar to a car muffler, meaning internal baffle cleaning is not necessary. Mounts and mounting surfaces should be cleaned periodically with standard gun cleaning solvent to remove carbon buildup. When using the piston mount, the O-Ring (Viton size-018, available separately) should be replaced when it shows wear, and should be lubricated regularly with white lithium grease. Do not run cleaning patches through the bore.
